BYRON Y. QUIMBEY Born Jan.21, 1946. Died Nov. 25, 2004. Byron was the son of Byron Edwin Quimbey, and Yuki Yabumoto of Chamberino, N. M. Byron passed away at his home in Taos, N.M. He is survived by his wife, Julia, siblings, Yuki June, Catherine, and Bud Quimbey. Sons; Robert, Ronald, grandson Justin and not to forget his friends Vernon Brook and J. Robert Calamia. Byron was a 1964 graduate of Burges High, and resident of El Paso for many years. Above all, Byron was a superb artist, stone napper, amateur archaeologist, and the best "arrowhead hunter" in the Nation. Byron is now happily searching for artifacts on those ancient hills beyond the mists of time. Your presence here will be missed, but your spirit will always be with us.
